The Kootingal Hotel supports the local community and holds regular
events for the community.
From live music on special occasions to fashion parades and
fundraisors, please check our website for event updates!
The Kootingal Hotel proudly
supports many community groups including
The District Lions Club,
The Kootingal Preschool, The Kootingal Swimming Club, The Kootingal
Public Primary School, the Kootingal Community Development Committee,
Kootingal Hotel Social Golf Club, Kootingal Hotel Social Netball Club,
Kootingal Hotel Social Oztag
and the Kootingal
Family Fishing Club and is Major sponsor for The Kootingal-Moonbi Rugby
League Football Club and the Junior Football Club.
Raffles for these groups are held
every Thursday and Friday nights as well the very popular
'schooner draw' where 30 /
15 / 5 schooners are raffled.
The Kootingal Hotel also has Saturday Punters
Club.
Everyone is welcome to join by seeing Pete or Andrew.
Keno is now at the Kootingal Hotel
and the hotel syndicate runs every week. $5 per share. Please see bar
staff to enter
The social golf club plays once a
month at various surrounding
courses and one weekend trip away per year which is subsidised by the
club. Annual membership is $20. Please call the Kootingal Hotel for
next Golf Day.
The
Family Fishing Club has many trips away throughout the year and seafood
nights held at the Kootignal Hotel. For more information please contact
Ty Taggart at the Kootingal Hotel on Thursday nights.
